Lothian and Borders Battalion Army Cadet Force has over 550 cadets and 150 adult volunteers in 33 detachments spread right across Scotland's capital city of Edinburgh and the Lothian and the Borders areas of Scotland. Each Company is named after a unique Battle Honour. To find out more about each Battle Honour, you can click on each of the respective Company's to learn more.
The 33 detachments are organised into six companies as follows:
Kohima Company - consists of nine Detachments across Edinburgh North and East Lothian including from South Queensferry to North Berwick. For more information on Kohima Company click the tab on the left hand side of the page.
Alma Company - consists of six Detachments across Midlothian including Bonnyrigg & Loanhead. For more information on Alma Company click the tab on the left hand side of the page.
Minden Company - consists of eight Detachments across the Scottish Borders including Peebles. It's Detachment in Galashiels sits on the former HQ of the Borders Battalion ACF before joining with Lothian & becoming part of Lothian & Borders ACF. Somme Company - consists of five Detachments and is the most Western Company within the Battalion with Detachments in Livingston, Bathgate & Whitburn. For more information on Burma Company click the tab on the left hand side of the page.
