Cadets from Lothian & Borders Pipes and Drums attended the National training at Barry Buddon over the weekend and not to bang our own drum (see what we did there?) Somme Company's very own CCpl Philp was appointed as the National Cadet Force Drum Major by Colonel Mike Neville.
Not only is CCpl Philp the newly appointed Drum Major, he was also awarded with the ACCTUK award for Pipes and Drums for all of his efforts and achievements during his career in the ACF.
I'm sure you will agree that a HUGE virtual round of applause is warranted! Well done Drum Major Philp!
