This year is the tenth year of Walking Home For Christmas. Ten years that has seen the event establish Walking With The Wounded as a beacon for the UK veteran family in local communities. Ten years that has seen almost £2 million raised to fund our work with wounded veterans and their loved ones.
In that ten years we have seen some amazing challenges from the Army Cadets with 2020 being the stand out year! You raised an astonishing £61,170 from 75 teams, the single largest total EVER raised from one organisation.
In the years since teams from across the UK have come back to support us once more, with Greater London, South West Sector, particularly flying the banner and raising the fantastic sum of £2,794.
This year we ask again for your help to send the rallying cry loud and wide to our supporters. From London to Liverpool, Cardiff to Carlisle you can make a difference to wounded veterans and their families in local communities across the country.
