In a demonstration of unity and support, the Army Cadets once again were joined by members of the Sea Cadets, Combined Cadet Force (CCF), Air Cadets, and Volunteer Cadet Corps (VCC) as they participated in the highly anticipated Pride in London event. This year marks the second consecutive year that these cadet organisations have come together to celebrate diversity and inclusivity.

Organised by the Army Cadets LGBT+ Forum, the group consisted of Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs), a select number of senior and staff cadets from various regions across the country, as well as numerous Allies, including National Army Cadet Ambassador, Jordan Wylie, who were eager to show their support for the LGBT+ community. Together, they formed part of the Youth Section, participating in the Pride in London parade. The procession will include a significant moment as the cadets march past the historic Cenotaph and Women at War memorial, paying their respects with an eyes-right salute.

Throughout the parade, cadets and CFAVs had the option to be dressed in their respective uniforms, unit polo shirts, or civilian clothing. The participation of the Army Cadets, along with the Sea Cadets, CCF, Air Cadets, and VCC, highlights the commitment of our youth organisations to foster an inclusive environment and promote understanding and acceptance. By standing together in Pride in London, we sent a powerful message of unity and support for the LGBT+ community, reinforcing the principles of equality and respect.

Pride in London is one of the country's most significant celebrations of the LGBT+ community, attracting thousands of participants and spectators each year. The presence of the cadets not only adds a touch of pride and enthusiasm to the event but also showcases the progressive and inclusive values held by these organisations.
