Cdt Cpl David Jackson of Minden Company, Lothian & Borders ACF put his First Aid qualifications to good use over the weekend when he found a young gentleman collapsed.
Managing to get his details before calling an ambulance, Cdt Cpl Jackson placed the young man into the recovery position and stayed with him until professional help arrived to provide medical assistance.
Having recently attained his First Aid qualification within the ACF allowed Cpl Jackson to remain calm, know what he was doing, provide the immediate first aid that was required until the professionals arrived.
