A family BBQ is held to say thank you for all the hard work that they do.
It is rare to have a totally Cadet Free weekend but the Royal County of Berkshire Army Cadets appreciate all it's adults and families who give up time to deliver the Cadet Experience across the County.
This year our Commandant Colonel Anthony Shallow presented some well deserved medals.
Captain Laura McNally received the Platinum Jubilee Medal, Laura has been a volunteer for almost 12 years and has been pivotal in delivering the Duke of Edinburgh's award across the County.
Major Sean Warren received his 3rd Clasp to his Cadet Forces Medal, that is a whopping 30 years dedicated service!
Sergeant Major Andrew Muggeridge was awarded his Cadet Forces Medal along with Staff Sergeant Amanda Murphy and Sergeant Andrew Pettet for their 12 years long service with the Royal County of Berkshire Army Cadets.When you add all that experience together these wonderful 5 adult volunteers have over 78 of them they have dedicated to the Army Cadets.
