Following the excellent treatment received by his aunt at Harrogate Hospital after falling ill with cancer, Cadet LCpl Robinson joined with his uncle and other adults to undertake the tough challenge to raise valuable funds for the hospital.
Although he was the only young person in the team, he was determined to complete the trek covering Pen-y-ghent, Whernside and Ingleborough with the others.
Despite an injury incurred halfway round (he rolled his ankle and fell, causing significant cuts to his leg - which he self-treated using his Cadet First Aid kit!), he kept going and the team finished the journey in an impressive time of just over 10.5 hrs.
In total, they raised over £3500 for Harrogate Hospital - an excellent reward for their endeavours. Cadet LCpl Robinson's efforts epitomise the 'can do' attitude we foster in the ACF, and everyone at Knaresborough Detachment and B Company is very proud of what he has achieved - well done!
