Congratulations to all the Cadets and CFAV who braved the cold to have a go at Sailing and Paddle Boarding at Alton Water in Ipswich.
The event, which took place on Sunday 5th March was thoroughly enjoyed by all the cadets who took to the water. Wetsuits and life jackets donned, they had a great day sailing Dinghys and using Paddle Boards. Many proved to be a dab hands and took to the water with ease, some even opting for a leisurely swim in the Reservoir!
By the end of the day, the cadets proved to be reluctant to leave, whilst the poor adults on the shoreline were longing for some warmth!
Congratulations again everyone and thank you to all the adults who gave up their time (and their warm homes) to assist in the event.
