St Neots Detachment celebrated their Annual Mess Meal on the 13th December at a local restaurant. The mess meal is a great opportunity for the cadets to dress up smartly and enjoy a formal Christmas meal, and also to present awards and promotions to cadets in recognition of their hard work during the year. The detachment was lucky enough to be joined by some special guests from Coy HQ (Maj McAllinden and Lt Burgoyne) as well as three former St Neots Detachment Commanders, SSI Stagg, SMI Gardiner (Retd) & Lt Grogan, all of whom have previously helped continue this long annual tradition. A new addition this year was an optional Secret Santa organized by NUV Holdaway. This was very popular and will definitely make an appearance again next year.
