8th May saw the National Football Tournament taking place at Altcar in Merseyside; the weekend also saw success for several teams from 7 Company in Greater London South East. Our cadets were joined by players from City of London & North East Sector and Greater London South West Sector.
The senior boys team were crowned national champions as were the junior boys team. Meanwhile the senior girls won Silver and the junior girls reached the semi finals; a fantastic achievement all round. Well done to our fantastic cadets and to 7 Company in particular.
A big thanks also go to the fantastic work of sector sports officer Lt Maria Katehis whose tireless work got the teams through regionals and enabled them to win gold on Merseyside!
