We are delighted to announce Cdt Sgt Alexander Horsman of Banbridge Academy Detachment, F Company and Cdt Sgt Adam Johnston of Holywood Detachment, G Company have both passed and been awarded their APC 4 Star this month.

This is one of the most arduous star levels within the Army Cadet Force and is highly sought after. A lot of hard work and determination is required to complete it, and we are delighted to be sharing this great news with you all.

The Battalion Training Major said “Sgt Horsman has not only completed the required elements, but he has also completed 4 Star Cadet in the Community, First Aid, Fieldcraft and SCIC (in line with Covid regulations), which is excellent. Sgt Johnston has also gone the extra mile by completing 4 Star Fieldcraft, First Aid and SCIC (in line with Covid regulations), which is again completing more that the 2 elements required. Both Cadets have most definitely aspired to the motto of the ACF of inspiring to achieve which is a great example, as well showing commitment and resilience to the ACF prior to lockdown and during it.”

On behalf of the Cadet Commandant, Battalion Training Major and 2nd (NI) Bn ACF we would like to wish you both a huge congratulations 👏🏼

Well done ☘️
