With this years Armed Forces Day on Saturday we are reminded to think about all of our wings of the Armed Forces and today it is Reserves Day.The Army has two regiments operating reserve units in Dorset. The Royal Wessex Yeomanry based at Bovington and 6 Rifles with units in Dorchester and Wallisdown.PI Hayden King recently aged out as a cadet from Sherborne Detachment. He has just joined Dorset Army Cadet Force as an adult volunteer. He has also joined the reserves in order to prepare himself for his future aim of joining the Regular Army in the Army Air Corps.For more information about the Reserves visit
