Cadets from across the battalion recently attended the Platinum Jubilee Youth Spectacular 2022 in Kelty. This was to celebrate the Queens Platinum Jubilee and to showcase the musical talent of our cadets and to inspire others to try a musical instrument.
The cadets where playing a part of the massed pipes and drums which was made up of the National ACF Pipe band, Queen Victoria School Pipe Band, Glenalmond College Pipe Band and George Heriots Pipe Band. Cpl Davidson, Cadet Moffat, LCpl Easton and LCpl Chauvet where all presented with their drumming badge from Band Master Cowan of Black Watch Battalion.
All cadets worked extremely hard with learning all the new music and long days of rehearsal putting on two fantastic shows.As an added bonus our cadets got to meet Stephen Mulhern and meet watch the Red-Hot Chilli Pipers.
