Lance Corporal Mahieu joined Kent Army Cadet Force at Dover Detachment in late 2022, and has progressed from the basic cadre to promotion in a little over 15 months!
Lance Corporal Mahieu said:
“There are a lot of things to do in the cadets, it is a good way to be part of the community and make new friends. The most interesting and enjoyable part of been a cadets for me is fieldcraft, it's great fun”.
He hopes to go to university after school and study law. His plan then is to attend The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst with a view to joining the Army Legal Service and become a lawyer in the Army.
