PROMOTION FOR COUNTY PRO:

At the end of our successful joint venture with the RCACC Cadets from British Columbia yesterday, there was a surprise for our County Public Relations Officer and East Company 2IC Lt Thor Elsson as he was promoted to Captain by Dorset Commandant Col Richard Taylor at the end of the Virtual Event

Capt Elsson has been with Dorset ACF for 7 years, in his position as PRO for the past two and 2IC of East Company for just a year.

Col Taylor said; "He is a dedicated adult volunteer who has done a great job as PRO. I'm very pleased to promote him to Captain.”

Capt Elsson added: "I'm extremely fortunate to work with exceptional colleagues and Cadets who, I have to say, make my job as PRO easy by the amount of fabulous work they all do. All their hard work and successes keep me busy and give me lots to celebrate with all our audiences not only in Dorset but well beyond."
