Cadet Force Adult Volunteers come from all walks of life. Many have previous military experience and join to pass on their knowledge to the cadets.

PI Taylor from Heywood Detachment recently joined the ACF and is waiting to attend his final training before he will become a fully qualified Sergeant Instructor. Prior to joining he completed a very successful 22 years of service in the Royal Navy Submarine Service.

During his service he was involved in severable notable campaigns.

PI Taylor joined the ACF and joined his son and daughter who are also cadets at Heywood Detachment.

As a result of his accumulated service in the Royal Navy PI Taylor has been awarded the Global Campaign Medal. The presentation took place at Heywood Detachment in front of the cadets by Lt Mundey, Company Training Officer and his very proud children.

In the ACF, our instructors contribute valuable skills and knowledge to help our cadets excel and mature into positive role models for the future. Both cadets and adult volunteers have experiences and gain exclusive knowledge that cannot be replicated elsewhere. This dynamic blend of expertise and learning opportunities empowers everyone involved to thrive and make a meaningful impact on their journey within the organisation.
