PARKSTONE CADETS LEARN VITAL LIFESAVING SKILLS

Parkstone made use of the bank holiday Monday (18 April 2022) to cover the full 16 lessons of the Two Star First Aid syllabus. The training which included lessons on; electric shocks, head injuries, seizures, poisons and much more gave the Cadets a greater insight on how to potentially save a life in different situations.

Cadet Thomas Rees added "I really enjoyed it"

SSI Ross Wheeler-Clayton, the Detachment Commander of Parkstone added "I personally feel that First Aid is one of the most important subjects in the ACF and it was fantastic to see the high level of engagement shown by the Cadets"

He also added "I would like to thank the Cadets for attending during their school holidays and big thank you to SI George Pearce for helping to deliver the lessons on a bank holiday"
