On Sunday 15th October cadets and adults from No 4 (Korea) Company played a vital role volunteering at the Manchester Half Marathon. They negotiated very challenging travel disruptions with multiple early road closures and tram lines out of service to still arrive for 7am.
With over 15,000 runners, the cadets were pivotal in taking charge of an extremely busy bag drop station, keeping things running smoothly and contributing to the positive atmosphere which the runners really appreciate prior to taking part in the marathon.
The event has counted towards the cadets Community Engagement module and gets them ever closer to their next star level.
A huge well done to everyone for your hard work.
