New posting for retired Conwy Army Cadet Officer

Major (Retired) David Williams has changed the delights of Conwy in North Wales for the bright lights of Chelsea in London. David joined residents at the Royal Hospital Chelsea retirement home, where roughly 300 former members of the British Army live, on February 6.

Having served in the Army for some 23 years David went on to serve 17 years with the Army Cadet Force eventually becoming a Company Commander. He retired in 2015.

Commandant Colonel Martin L Craven said “Well done to David on being selected to become a Chelsea Pensioner. After retirement David has always maintained his links with the cadets, attending camp visitor days and Officers Mess functions. Everyone in Clwyd and Gwynedd wishes him all the best in this new exciting chapter”
