Handing over the baton in Conwy

In the majestic setting of Conwy Castle, it was time to mark the appointment of a new Mayors Cadet.

Conwy detachments Matt Coulton has been appointed Mayor's Cadet for the new Mayor of Conwy and Constable of the Castle Cllr Joan Vaughan.

The outgoing Mayor Cllr Collette Ryan presented retiring Mayors Cadet Owen Cash with a memento of his time as her Mayors cadet and thanked him for his support throughout the year.

The Mayors Cadet will accompany the Mayor at Civic and other events during the coming year.
