Award-Winning Designs from Rossett Cadet
L/Cpl Abbie Hollway from Rossett Detachment Clwyd & Gwynedd ACF has been declared the winner in the all-Wales competition to design a new set of sports kits for the Welsh Army Cadet sports teams.
The competition launched last year was open to all army and CCF(A) cadets across Wales. The winning entry was selected by Col LT Williams, Colonel Cadets Wales, and a team from HQ 160th (Welsh) Brigade
Abbie will now have her design made into reality and she also wins £100
Col LT Williams said “it was great to receive some innovative designs and I look forward to seeing the Abbie designs being used by Wales teams this year”
Capt. Mervyn Jones Wales Sports & Wellbeing Officer said “The next step will be to send the design to the company producing the kit along with the Brigade Badge that will need to be added. The first kits to be made will be the Boys and Girls Football Kit and Rugby Kit”
