Members of the Band assisted The Veterans Big Band Concert…

On Sunday 18th June 2023 Four cadets from the Regimental Band of Lincolnshire Army Cadet Force were invited to assist at a concert played by The Veterans Big Band. The cadets along with 2 CFAVs handed out programmes and collected donations for the Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre.

Cadets & CFAVS with Ron Moonesinghe – Band Leader

The Defence Medical Rehabilitation Centre (DMRC). Benevolent Fund is a volunteer-run charity that provides funding to support holistic, occupational and social integration opportunities for serving military patients at DMRC Stanford Hall near Loughborough. The DMRC Benevolent Fund offer a programme of events and activities to enhance the rehabilitation process in keeping patients motivated and supported while undertaking what can be an arduous and challenging recovery process.

The Veterans Big Band Leader Ron Moonesinghe said of the cadets: “Please pass on my congratulations to the cadets who were fantastic and professional in their conduct helping our concert. These young cadets are the Veterans of the future and I am proud that this generation will make us old Veterans proud.”
