Friday night saw the start of the new Meet & Compete competition organised by company commander Major Dieter Aretz in a series of innovative sessions to help cadets hone their skills across a variety of areas inn a fun and competitive environment with prizes, pizza and cups to be won!
The first Meet & Compete was around first aid with the sessions covering navigation, drill, turnout and a host of other syllabus areas on a monthly basis based at detachments all over Bexley and Bromley. 42 cadets and 10 adults attended the evening with many detachments putting in two teams. 104 won the first aid Meet & Compete with Cpl Hanrahan accepting the cup for his detachment and as an individual effort too! Well done to him and his colleagues for doing so well and setting the bar so high!
