Cadet Lance Corporal Jones Farewell Suprise!

Recently Cadet Lance Corporal Jones from 1 Company attended his last Parade night at his Detachment as the young Cadet finishes his Army Cadet Journey at the age of 18. Cdt LCpl Jones expected to attend the Detachment to hand in his uniform and say his goodbyes and that would be it. However, the Adult Instructors and Cadets had something else planned for the Cadet leaver much to his suprise Cadet Lance Corporal Jones was presented with three frames, one showing his years with Merseyside ACF including his time cap badged The Rifles Regiment prior to moving Detachments and being cap bagded the Royal Signals Corps, the second memory his rank and current cap badge and finally his photo memories.

Major Woodruff - Officer Commanding 1 Company has told us:

"We would like to bid farewell to Cadet Lance Corporal Jones as he embarks on a new chapter in his life. Cdt LCpl Jones has been an exceptional member of our team, consistently giving his all and serving as a role model for his fellow Cadets. His unwavering enthusiasm and dedication to his training have been truly inspiring to witness.

As Cadet Lance Corporal Jones celebrates his 18th birthday, we also celebrate the remarkable young man he has become. His growth and development during his time with us has been nothing short of impressive, and we are incredibly proud of his achievements. I have no doubt that his Mum and Sister share in this pride, knowing the outstanding individual he has evolved into.

Cadet Lance Corporal Jones, as you venture into the next phase of your life, we wish you all the success and happiness in your future endeavours. May you continue to approach challenges with the same determination and passion that you have shown during your time with us. Your positive impact on everyone will not be forgotten.

On behalf of 1 Company I extend our warmest wishes for a bright and fulfilling future. Happy 18th birthday, Cadet Lance Corporal Jones, and good luck in all your future endeavours."

National Music Camp - Otterburn

This year five #teamMACF Cadets attended the National Music Camp Basic Course for the first time in many years. The Cadets were accompanied by Sergeant Instrcutor McCloskey who taught 2 Stars at Camp and Sergeant Instructor Hazeldine who was not only awarded best chaperone but also learnt to play the drum at the Camp!

Well done everyone!

Cadet in the Community!

Recently Cadets from across 4 Company helped out at the Liverpool Half Marathon at the Pier Head. It was an early mornings start at 0730hrs on the weekend for the Cadets, organising and assembling the T shirt stand, in readiness for the 8,000 plus runners who crossed the start line!

Despite a little chill on the wind, all Cadets carried them selves perfectly. A huge well done to all the Cadets and Adult Instrcutors who attended, your Army Cadet Force Values of selfless commitment, self discipline and respect for others were clearly on display.

Awesome efforts #teamMACF!
