Lt Georgia Pinson is to swap the Scottish Highlands for the spectacular terrain of Corsica’s Grande Randonnée route 20 (GR20). Lt Pinson is undertaking training supported by the ACF to become a Mountain Leader Assessor and is due to lead an expedition to Bavaria next year. Lt Pinson is supporting the directing staff of Exercise Corte Challenger, a 14 day self-sufficient mountain trekking exercise for cadets from across the United Kingdom The expedition organised by The Cadet Centre for Adventurous Training runs from the 8th to 22nd July. Throughout the expedition, the team will traverse the 112 mile trail that winds its way along the jagged spine of Corsica’s mountainous centre. This challenging terrain offers a fantastic opportunity for cadets to test their physical and mental capabilities while enjoying the stunning scenery of the Mediterranean island. Lt Pinson is looking forward to her role in the expedition and is eager to use this opportunity as preparation for our own expedition to Bavaria later on and of course to help the cadets make the most of this amazing opportunity.
