Battalion Commandant Colonel Gordon Rae was honoured last night to receive a Lord Lieutenant’s Certificate for Meritorious Service in recognition of his hard work keeping the flame alive during the pandemic. His work was at the forefront of the Cadet Movements efforts to keep cadets engaged using digital media and virtual training sessions during the period of lockdown. As a result of the time he committed the Battalion had a head start when parade nights and training weekends were able to take place once more. Col Rae was also recognised for his time and effort to ensure the Battalion and the ACF is a Diverse and Inclusive organisation. The entire Battalion thanks Col Rae for his hard work and professional leadership.
