LNR ACF Hosts Successful Eastern Region Cross Country…

This exciting event brought together 30 dedicated cadets from three different counties: LNR, Lincolnshire, and Essex. The competition featured four distinct age groups, including Junior Boys, Junior Girls, Senior Boys, and Senior Girls.

Team Triumph

In the Senior Boys category, it was the LNR ACF Senior Boys who emerged victorious, clinching the team event title. Their impressive teamwork and dedication paid off, earning them a well-deserved win. The Senior Girls also showcased their prowess in cross country running, displaying exceptional teamwork throughout the race.

Individual Excellence

Two standout cadets, Cadet Corporal Brian from Ibstock in the Boys' category and Cadet Holford from Blackbird Road in the Girls' category, both secured individual victories. Their remarkable performances demonstrated not only their talent but also their commitment to the sport. These young athletes served as an inspiration to their fellow cadets and added an extra layer of excitement to the competition.

Junior Cadets Shine

The Junior Boys and Girls also delivered exceptional performances, earning a second-place finish as a team in their respective categories. The future of cross country running in the Eastern Region looks promising with such dedicated and talented young cadets in the ranks.

National Cross Country Bound

The success at the Eastern Region Cross Country Championship has not gone unnoticed. Nine outstanding cadets from LNR ACF have been selected to represent their region at the National Cross Country Championship, which will take place at Altcar in October 2023.
