Congratulations and well done to the #teamMACF County Shooting Team who took part in the HQNW Cadet Target Rifle Competition at the weekend.
Merseyside ACF Shooting Officer - SMI PT Gannon has said:
"At last weekend’s HQ NW Regional Cadet Target Rifle Merseyside ACF Cadets again achieved great successes.
Merseyside ACF won the 42 Inf Brigade Trophy for Top Female Cadet and Merseyside ACF A Team came 2nd in the CLRA Competition.
Merseyside B team did very well and were unfortunate not to place but there is always next year!
I would like to say how proud I am of all Merseyside ACF Cadets who attended this weekend (and previous training weekends) in particularly Cadet Murphy of Allerton who although not firing supported the team with background work.
All Cadets are a credit to themselves, families and Merseyside ACF and it is a privilege to work with them.
I would also like to thank all the staff at Altcar Training Camp, the Company Shooting Officers and OCs for their support in allowing Cadets to attend training even when it clashed with Company Training.
Finally, I would like to pass on my thanks to SMI R Gillison, SMI Ellenborough, SI Black, SI Simmons, SI A Smith, SI Eccles and PI Fry who have supported the Cadets and myself throughout and helped make this weekend such a great success. Bisley here we come!!!"
