GREATER MANCHESTER ACF AND ROYAL CANADIAN ARMY CADETS
ZOOM COLLABRATION SESSION
Due to contacts made during the 2019 Expedition Instructors Course that took place at the Whitehorse Cadet Summer Training Centre, Yukon in 2019 Major Rob MacDonald and Lt Emma Harrison who attended the exchange as the UK escort officers and with the assistance from Lt Col Steve Heyl (Deputy Commandant) held a Zoom meeting with 11 cadets from Greater Manchester ACF and a similar number from the Royal Canadian Army Cadets to discover subjects and topics that future Zoom sessions could cover.
The evening gathering was a tremendous success, with a great deal of input and ideas received from both the Greater Manchester and Canadian contingents.
A big thank you to Captain Doug Jordan the J3 Training Officer (Winnipeg North) Regional Cadet Support Unit (Northwest) for his invaluable assistance and cooperation before and during the session.
It is anticipated that future larger events can be carried out in the coming months.
