Cadets from Detachments around Vittoria Company went to Gordon Barracks in Aberdeen to learn First Aid and practice their new skills for their Basic and One Star sections in the Army Cadet Syllabus (ACS). First Aid is a mandatory section and can lead to recognised qualifications such First Aid at Work and Emergency First Aid at Work, as well as being able to compete at National level competition. Some of the cadets taking part may indeed go on to be part of a winning team in the future! But everyone has to start somewhere and as it was - 13 cadets attended and 13 passes recorded. Well done to all who participated and your certificates will follow on for presentation soon.
