Exciting Night at Rosyth Detachment: A Celebration of Cadet Achievement and Community Engagement
Organised by the Detachment Commander SI Claire Moir a special visit from Police Scotland. This visit wasn’t just routine; it was an opportunity for the cadets to engage in community outreach training and get hands-on experience, perhaps even trying out some shiny new bracelets.
The presence of Police Scotland added a layer of authenticity to the training, allowing cadets to interact with Police Officers and gain insights into their roles within the community. From learning about crime prevention strategies to understanding the importance of community relations, the cadets were immersed in a valuable learning experience that went beyond the confines of their usual training sessions.
Amidst the excitement of the evening, there was another cause for celebration – the promotion of Cadet Rice to the rank of Lance Corporal. This achievement was not just a personal milestone for Cadet Rice but a testament to the dedication and hard work displayed by all cadets at Rosyth Detachment. The promotion was done by the newly promoted 2nd Lieutenant Moir, served as a reminder of the growth and progress that can be achieved through commitment and perseverance.
A big thank to the members of Police Scotland for their participation in the evening’s events. Their presence not only added value to the training but also reinforced the importance of collaboration between the Police and youth organisations.
In the end, Rosyth Detachment had once again proven itself to be a beacon of excellence, where dedication, opportunity, and community engagement converge to create meaningful experiences and lasting impact.
