Commandant's Christmas Message

I would like to take the opportunity to thank all the CFAVs and PSS of Bedfordshire & Hertfordshire Army Cadet Force for their dedication and hard work over the last year. I am fully aware of the effort involved, in ensuring that our Cadets get the most from their experience with us. Despite the obstacles that are in our way we seem to always adapt and overcome, and every year achieve just that little bit more. Some highlights from this year are - 8 Senior Cadets completing Master Cadet, overseas trips to Kenya, skiing in Norway, Cadets and CFAVs making the most of the Cadet Centre Adventures Training (CCAT) and Winning multiple Sports, competing at Regional and National Levels.We continue to sit head and shoulders above other Counties when it comes to First Aid Awards with 43 awards given to Cadets and CFAVs to date this year, with a further 2 waiting authorisation. You are all helping to build and develop a new generation of young people and should be proud of the part you play. I want to congratulate the Cadets for their dedication to the ACF, being part of this organisation is a privilege and you should grasp every opportunity if given. Finally, I would like to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year, I look forward to seeing you all in 2024!!
