A group of Cadets from Dorset Army Cadet Force (ACF) have successfully completed their Communications and Information Systems (CIS) training, earning the coveted crossed flags badge. The training, which began in September 2022 with the Cadet Radio User (CRU) qualification, culminated in the completion of their 3 and 4 Star CIS in February 2023.

The crossed flags badge is a prestigious achievement within the ACF, indicating a high level of proficiency in the use of communication and information systems. The Cadets have demonstrated their ability to operate radio equipment, use field telephones and carry out map reading and navigation exercises.

"A huge well done to the Cadets who recently earned their crossed flags badge, I thank them for their hard work and humour during the course."
