The morning parade welcomed a special inspecting officer today when Major (Retired) David Williams, now a resident at the Royal Hospital Chelsea, paid a visit to summer camp.
Having served in the Army for some 23 years David went on to serve 17 years with the Army Cadet Force eventually becoming a Company Commander. He became a Chelsea Pensioner in February 2022.
David was welcomed by Commandant Martin L Craven and invited to inspect A Company during the morning parade.
It was a pleasure to welcome David to our summer camp.
