Cumbria ACF Challenge Week Day 2

Arnhem Company spent the day at County Headquarters and RAF Spadeadam carrying out refresher training on Drill, Weapon Handling on the Cadet GP Rifle and Fieldcraft amongst other things.
Tomorrow, Arnhem company are splitting into two groups again with half of the cadets heading for RAF Spadeadam to put into practice all the fieldcraft training they have done over the last two days, and will be taking part in a pairs fire and manoeuvre exercise. The remaining cadets will be based at the Castle learning Skill at Arms on the Cadet Small Bore Target Rifle and taking part in Archery.

Burma Company spent the day at Dalton Detachment and Barrow ARC where they carried out a round robin of Skill at Arms on the Cadet Small Bore Target Rifle, Shooting, Drill and Fieldcraft training at Dowdales.
School. Tomorrow, will be the same as today but a change around of the groups and locations.

Chindit Coy spent the day at Warcop were they carried out fieldcraft Training, basha building and had fun on a pairs fire manoeuvre exercise with paintball guns!! Tomorrow, Chindit Coy are heading for Derwent Water in the heart of the Lake District to take part in some adventure training including Kayaking, Bushcraft, Raft Building and Ghyll Scrambling.
