Embarking on a journey to Berkshire, cadets recently enjoyed a remarkable experience at The Royal Military Academy Sandhurst (RMAS). The cadets' journey began on Thursday, as they immersed themselves in a comprehensive tour of RMAS. The following day, Friday the 11th, they actively contributed to the Sovereign’s Parade, assisting the event by distributing programs to guests and assisting in the parade's closure. The Sovereign’s Parade marked a significant milestone, with 185 Officer Cadets from Commissioning Course Number 223 successfully completing the 44-week Commissioning Course at the Academy. The parade was graced by the presence of India’s Chief of Army Staff, General Manoj Pande, who represented His Majesty King Charles III as the Inspecting Officer.Cadets like Ellen Jones, Bobbi Evans, Martyna Matysiak, and Evan Smith shared their excitement. Ellen expressed her delight with the warm day, the parade square, and the officer's mess. Bobbi relished the opportunity to be the first cadets to march on the square. Martyna highlighted the rarity of such experiences for cadets, and Evan emphasized the privilege of witnessing the spectacle. Thanks go to all participants and the dedicated staff who orchestrated this unforgettable experience.
