Over the weekend of 18 & 19th November, Number 4 (Korea) Company carried out One and Two Star training at Clifton Detachment. There were multiple subjects covered including introduction to DofE, Nutrition, Drill, Skill at Arms, First Aid, accessing the Cadet Portal and introduction to Rifle Drill.
Many of the Cadets achieved syllabus passes in One and Two star First Aid which are vital skills for the cadets to learn and be able to use when needed for real-life situations.
There were also multiple passes in One and Two Star Skill at Arms with lots of Weapon Handling Tests updated in readiness for our Fieldcraft Camp in February 2024.
There were two promotions over the weekend with Cdt Anderson being promoted to Cadet LCpl and Cadet LCpl McGrath being promoted to Cadet Cpl; who also completed his Two Star award.
The weekend ended with a birthday cake for LCpl Knott who chose to spend her birthday training with us.
Well done to all the Cadets who worked really hard and made excellent progress on their Star Levels. The weekend was a great success.
The staff plan to organise similar events in the future.
