Exercise CADET CAMBRIAN PATROL 2024 is the premier cadet patrolling competition in the UK. Delivered by 160 (Welsh) Brigade Cadet Training Team (CTT), it aims to emulate the Regular Army Ex CAMBRIAN PATROL as far as is practicable.
The competition is a 36 hour exercise comprising of a team of eight cadets conducting a patrol unsupervised across the Sennybridge Training Area. The team is tested on navigation, teamwork, Fieldcraft and tactics completing tasks along a route of over 26 Km.
SW London ACF will conduct a selection event over the weekend of the 13 and 14 April 2024. The event is open to Cadets who meet the following criteria:
- Must be 2 star or above.
- Aged 15 or over prior to the 12 April 24
- Must not turn 18 before 20 May 24.

Those wishing to attend the selection should register on the Cadet Portal or speak to your Detachment Commander to put you down for the event.
Candidates need to be fit, motivated and up for the challenge. We will provide the best training available for you to succeed.
