Major Dieter Aretz and Captain Anthony Ellison represented the Army Cadet Force in South East London at the Bromley Flag Raising Ceremony and signing of the Armed Services Covenant at the London Borough of Bromley yesterday.
In attendance were the Mayor of Bromley Cllr Mike Botting, Leader of the Council Cllr Colin Smith and Commanding Officer 106 (yeomanry) Regiment Lt Col Ryan Sinclair.
Also attending were representatives of the British Legion, council staff and officers as well as local Air Cadets and Sea Cadets. Light refreshments were served following the celebrations. This marks Armed Forces Day as part of Armed Services week, this Sunday Major Aretz and Captain Ellison will be attending the Bexley Civic Parade in Bexleyheath to honour the Bexley side of the Company.
