Annual Camp - Day 1

What a beautiful morning to wake up to in Scotland, the rain of had blown over, and we woke up ready for the exciting activities on the first full day on camp. On the programme was a mix of shooting and fieldcraft for E Company, who this afternoon deployed out to the training area for the first of two nights in the field.

C Company headed out for the first day of their Adventure Training Package, where the cadets and CFAV enjoyed Coasteering, mountain biking, white water rafting and mini highland games.

D Company spent the morning within camp and planing their routes before heading out onto the training area for a navigation exercise accompanied by the padre in beautiful sunshine.practical sessions heading towards the lighthouse on a navigation exercise.

B Company were in camp completing vital Skill at Arms training ahead of deploying to the field for their exercise.

County HQ spent the day preparing to receive visitors from the National Cadet Corps of India who arrive on Monday evening.
