The Army Cadet Charitable Trust UK (ACCTUK) are the Army Cadets Forces’s official charity, they exist to make life-changing opportunities accessible to all young people.

The hard Work by ACCT UK has allowed cadets to build on their skills and experience take part in experiences they would never do as young people. As some families struggle financially the work of ACCT UK is valuable.

No 1 (Minden) Company embrace the benefits of the Duke Of Edinburgh’s Award and this has last year seen nearly 50 Cadets pass their Bronze Award, due to their own hard work and determination. Many will go onto their silver and even gold awards. With these awards does come the large expenses of equipments for the expeditions they complete.

Following an application for a grant, to support the Company, to allow the cadets to continue participation of the DofE, ACCT UK awarded £1232.00 to buy equipment for 6 cadets to use on their expeditions. The equipment will be used in the future by other cadets, giving them the life changing opportunities of the ACF.

No 1 (Minden) Company thanks ACCT UK for it’s very generous grant. The cadets will get the benefits of this for years to come.
