ACCT UK Quiz Night

Sword Company's Quiz Night was an excellent addition to our prior endeavors to raise funds for ACCT UK.

The event was a resounding success, serving as an ideal precursor to the holiday season.
We were able to generate a substantial amount of funds, which will be added to the already impressive sum of £2801

The quiz night and raffle raised £573.94 including our online donations bringing it up to £743.94. The Quiz night constituted our year-end programming.

With further detachment-level activities to be completed, the money raised for ACCT UK is still rising.

A message from CSM Jo Hearn

Six months ago, I set our Cadets and CFAVS a last-minute challenge to arrange sponsored silent parade nights in each detachment. I hoped they would raise £500 in total, but little did I know the impact this would have or how much it would grow! They smashed the first target and then wanted to do more, which blew me away.

A Summer Glow Bright Party, a Family Christmas Quiz Night, lots of hard work and dedication, and a Fundraising Committee later and every target that has been set has been obliterated! To hit our current total in less than six months is amazing, and the cadets are not finished for the year yet. I can't wait for next year, the Fundraising Committee has lots of awesome ideas, if this is six months of fundraising, what will twelve months bring?

I could not be any more proud to be a part of such an amazing Company, working with some awesome adults and some outstanding cadets. To inspire to achieve works both ways, the cadets of Sword Company truly inspire me.
