The evening started in spectacular form with a well rehearsed drill routine. This involved three cadet sections, a rifle party and the senior cadet. Once formed up the OC was invited to inspect the cadets.

Moving on from the drill, the following awards were presented: best turned out, shooting award, first aid award, most improved, best junior NCO, best NCO, detachment commanders shield, best section and champion cadet.

The ex cadet company Sgt major was also invited back to receive a gift on behalf of the company and detachment. SSI Coulson was also presented a commandants coin due to his amazing acts during a first aid incident last year.

Following the awards, all members retired to the bar for tea, coffee and cake. A massive congratulations to all our prize winners.

As a Cadet, you'll be able to challenge yourself and take your skills to the next level.
