This past weekend cadets were undertaking a 2 star expedition and navigation exercise at Aden Country Park.The event was open to any cadet who has completed 2 Star Navigation and Expedition training and were prepared to undertake the 2 Star Expedition assessment. All navighation lessons lessons must be completed in advance so cadets could navigate confidently while remotely supervised. Cadets camped out at Boddam on Friday night and set off along the Formartinte and Buchan way towards Mintlaw. on Saturday morning. On saturday night camp was set up at Aden Country Park with the exercise continuing on Sunday morning through part of the Forest of Deer. Although we did not have a piper with us to call reveille SSI Scott did a sterling job.
