All four Companies were present each having put a lot of preparation in over past few months to get all cadets up to competition level.
The teams and staff arrived at the Cadet Training Centre on Friday evening and settled in with a safety and a brief on the programme for the competition on the Saturday.
The competition ran in three phases, Drill Practice Phase, Inspection Phase and finally the Marked Drill Phase. The weather was not very pleasant at times, but all teams completed and phases with a very high degree of professionalism and high moral.
Thank you to all Cadets and Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs) who made it all possible. Special thanks to the Quarter Master (QM) and PSS for pulling out all the stops with transport and feeding. Further thanks goes to Capt Maybin of the Royal Irish Regiment, RSMI Ogle (Retired), Cadet RSM Hunter C who took on the task of marking the inspection and drill phase and to RSM John Johnston who overseen the competition.
