Volunteer with us
Aged 18 or over? Want to shape the future of young people?
Like the idea of helping them achieve things they never thought possible? Looking for something exciting to do in your spare time?
Then how about becoming an Army Cadet Force adult volunteer? With around 45,000 cadets (aged 12-18) in 1,700 locations in every corner of the United Kingdom, the ACF is one of the country’s largest voluntary youth organisations.
Central to the ACF are its 8,500 adult volunteers – enthusiastic and committed people who help and inspire our teenage cadets to achieve their goals, whether it’s reaching the maximum score in marksmanship, learning how to kayak, getting their next Duke of Edinburgh's Award or simply learning how to look after themselves at annual camp.
No particular experience is required and we provide all necessary training. So if you can give up one or two evenings a week and want to do something constructive with your free time, this could be exactly what you are looking for.
But don’t just take our word for it – read on and find out what joining the Army Cadet Force could do for you or register as a volunteer now.
