This spectacle is a breathtaking fusion of sound and colour, featuring the Massed Bands of the Household Division, Massed Pipes and Drums, and the Mounted State Trumpeters.

This year’s event, titled ‘Orb and Sceptre,’ is particularly significant as it celebrates the Coronation of King Charles III and honours the iconic music of Sir William Walton. The spectacle also pays tribute to the 80th anniversary of the D-Day landings, reflecting on the sacrifices made and the enduring spirit of remembrance.
The King’s Troop Royal Horse Artillery, with its First World War-era 13-pounder guns, adds a historical dimension to the event. Their return to the Horse Guards Parade is a highlight, promising a display of world-class military horsemanship, precision drill, and a stunning fireworks finale.
