I bounced around youth clubs for years, never thinking I'd find a place I belong. But in the army cadets, I didn’t only find somewhere I belong, but I also found myself. I've done things I never thought I'd do. I've grown as a person, finding my confidence, my courage, and something I'm truly passionate about. I've found a group of people that I look forward to seeing every week. I love going to the cadets because every time I walk into a room, I know I'm going to walk out knowing something new. All the while, making a real connection with the people around me. I know that the friends I have made in the cadets are people that I will be friends with for years after I leave and the skills I have learned will stay with me forever. I may have joined the ACF looking for a youth club, but I ended up finding a lifestyle
