The Adventure Starts Here
About Gloucestershire Army Cadets
Gloucestershire Army Cadets is where challenge meets opportunity. Open to young people aged 12 and over, we offer hands-on experiences that build confidence, teamwork, and real-life skills. From learning first aid and taking part in adventurous training to pushing your limits on fieldcraft exercises or supporting your local community—there’s something for everyone. With detachments across the county, cadets make lasting friendships, achieve recognised qualifications, and grow into capable, resilient individuals. Behind every cadet is a team of dedicated adult volunteers, aged 18+, who lead by example while developing their own leadership and instructional skills. Whether you’re a young person seeking purpose and adventure, or an adult ready to inspire the next generation—Gloucestershire Army Cadets is the place to start your journey.
