Cyprus Army Cadets
Founded in 2017, the Cyprus ACF Detachment based at Episkopi is the very first outside of the United Kingdom!
Cyprus SBA Episkopi ACF
A new ACF detachment has opened in Cyprus, the first one outside of the United Kingdom.
The Cyprus SBA Episkopi Station ACF opened in April 2017 and already has 25 cadets and two trained adult volunteers with a number of keen ‘cadets in waiting’ and specialist volunteers.
The ACF welcomes boys and girls from the age of 12 (and at least in year eight at school), of all abilities and backgrounds, and through a broad range of exciting, challenging, educational and adventurous activities, help young people develop physically, mentally and socially. Some of our activities have a military theme; others have more of a community focus. This combination enables us to offer our young people a unique blend of personal development opportunities all designed to promote fun and friendship while also helping them prepare for success in their chosen path in life.
As an ACF adult instructor, you can make a real impact on young people’s lives, whilst taking advantage of exciting experiences and even gaining qualifications. No military background is required; just energy, enthusiasm and a sense of humour! If you’re interested in finding out more about becoming an adult volunteer, why not get in touch?
